Welcome to the un-official Angry Dolphin website.
Being a fan of one of the best live bands I have ever seen, I decided to dedicate
some of my time to give this band just 0.001% of the support that they deserve.
After following 'the Dolphin Experience' for a few years and becoming friends with
the band it was the least I could do.
I still can't believe that this band are not yet massive, although they are on the way in
their home town.
I first saw the band play to about 15 people in a local boozer and have watched their
following double, treble, quadruple and now pack out all their gigs in Donny. Their
t-shirts are seen in Donny nearly as much as Nike, worn by a cross-section of people
only excluding the Goth and Death Merchant brigade.
The Angry Dolphin sound is (amazingly for 2002) very original. From Dodgy to the Foo
Fighters, Travis to The Wonderstuff, Chilli-Peppers to Third Eye Blind, Hear Say to
Atomic Kitten, I challenge you to try and find another band with the same sound.
Great pop tunes with a hard rocking edge, unforgettable choruses - there is something
there for everyone. Well, not everyone... no rap or reggae - they're not Americans - they
just look like they are!
Just a word of warning if you are thinking of catching them live.... be prepared to expect
anything if the band are on form.... and I do mean ANYTHING! Look!!!! Don't listen to me,
just go and see for yourself....
